December 19, 2010 - We are praying sooooo much that the Lord will work a miracle.

Hey,

It sounds like you all have been really busy but having fun. I just love Christmas time! We taught a new investigator this week, and we talked about holidays. She used to meet with Jehovah's Witnesses and they don't celebrate anything. She agreed with them on that and it was so sad to me. I love holidays because the whole family comes together and remembers Jesus! Here in Russia, they celebrate Christmas on January 7th - but it is more just a continuation of New years.

President Allcott is coming on Wednesday to have a Christmas Devotional thingy with us. He is meeting with the missionaries and then later that night he is doing a devotional for the members. I'm really excited about it.

Sergei didn't get baptized on Saturday but he came to church yesterday and after church we had a great meeting with him. He agreed to talk to his girlfriend about getting married!!!!!!! He's like 37...but it will be his 2nd marriage and he's scared of something. But, he really wants to get baptized and he wants to receive an answer about the Book of Mormon. He's just not willing to move out of his apartment or make her move. So...he's gonna have to get married! He's incredible and I hope that I will get to see his baptism.

We set a goal for our investigator Anton to get baptized on December 31st. He is 14 and wants to get baptized, his dad is in the District Presidency, but his mom won't give permission. We are praying sooooooo much that the Lord will work a miracle. Anton deserves the Holy Ghost. He deserves forgiveness and the promise of eternal life. He is worthy and ready to serve the Lord, to receive the priesthood. Please keep him and his mother in your prayers. :)

Stay safe and give my love to everyone.

love always,
Sister Bee
